As the 2010 World Series of Poker main event takes place in Las Vegas, player David Assouline is leading after eight hours of play during the Day 2B with 387,800 chip stacks. Generally, in WSOP terms, the day was comparatively short, but with Assouline, Ricardo Fasanaro, Matt Reed, and Jim Collopy building stacks of over 300,000, the short WSOP day had created a lot of action.
Also known as “MrBigQueso” in online Poker, Collopy was quiet most of the day, but later on rushed out in stacking up to 305,000. John Van Fleet on the other hand also had stacked up to 295,000 later on that day. Aside from the two handsome poker players, the new Team PokerStars babe Vanessa Selbst also had 300,000 for most of the day but later on settled at 265,000 chips. At one point of the day, Gabriel Walls was the chip leader with 400,000 chips. However, falls backed to 241,000 at the end of the day.
Other than the abovementioned poker pros, players like Florian Langman, Jason Mercier, Jan Heitman, William Thorson, and Vanessa Rousso of Team PokerStars also had a decent amount of chips all throughout the day.
If some of the players are lucky enough to have stacks at the end of the day, there are also some that are not so lucky enough and fell off the rail like George Danzer, Phil Ivey, Todd Brunson, David Baker, John Phan, Gavin Griffin, J.C. Tran, Doyle Brunson, and Jon Little to name a few.
